Rebates

If you have Private Health Insurance:

  • All assessments and private consultations are claimable under the Extras Policy
  • Group physiotherapy sessions are now supported by many Health funds. You will need to check the specifics of your particular fund
  • Amounts reimbursed vary from fund to fund and vary depending on the level of your cover. Please contact your fund for information regarding amounts claimable

The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan – now called Chronic Disease Management (CDM)

  • Many clients with Scoliosis classify for this Care Plan as their condition requires they see multiple health care professionals such as Orthopaedic specialists, Orthotists and Physiotherapists
  • It is a service for clients with a ‘chronic medical condition and complex care needs’
  • The Medicare rebate is approximately $58 on five physiotherapy consultations every calendar year
  • Your GP will assess your suitability for the EPC plan and refer as appropriate

Health Care card holders receive a 10% discount on consultations upon presentation of their card
