Specialised Scoliosis Care For Children, Teens & Adults
At Scoliosis Physiotherapy, we focus exclusively on scoliosis and other variations of the spine and ribcage. With over 40 years of combined scoliosis experience and internationally recognised training, our team provides evidence-based scoliosis treatment tailored to your individual needs.
Now with two convenient Geelong clinic locations in Rippleside and Belmont, we’re proud to bring specialised scoliosis physiotherapy closer to the Greater Geelong community.
Whether you were diagnosed years ago, are experiencing changes in your posture or pain, or simply want clarity about your condition, we’re here to help you better understand your body and your options.
Thorough Assessments & Personalised Treatment Pathways
Every journey begins with a comprehensive 60-minute assessment with one of our specially trained physiotherapists. Because every scoliosis presentation is different, we believe proper assessment is essential before recommendations are made.
Your Initial Assessment May Include:
- Detailed medical and scoliosis history
- Postural and movement assessment
- Neurological and hypermobility screening
- Review of X-rays and Cobb angle measurements
- Assessment of spinal balance and asymmetries
- Discussion of symptoms, concerns and goals
Evidence-Based, Patient-Centred Care
Some scoliosis curves remain stable throughout life, while others may progress or contribute to discomfort, mobility restrictions or postural changes. Our role is to provide clear guidance, education and personalised treatment options tailored to your needs. This may include bracing, pre- and post-surgery scoliosis care, and collaboration with other health practitioners.
Book an initial scoliosis assessment today at our Geelong clinics in Rippleside or Belmont.
